what is friendly captcha?
a proof-of-work-widget challenge; used by friendly-captcha; mints the frc-captcha-solution, verified at api.friendlycaptcha.com/api/v1/siteverify token; escalation: background pow (default, no user interaction) → higher pow difficulty on a suspicious session. no puzzle: the widget runs an escalating hashcash-style proof-of-work in the background and mints a solution token. cost-based, so the tell is throughput/parallelism, not a solve.
